2013
The Spark of an Idea
During a family trip to New York in 2013, we came across a public pool built from shipping containers. The concept was simple, yet inspiring — and it stuck with us. With our deep roots and hands-on experience in container modifications at Seabox Depot, the seed for something bigger was planted.
2015
Curiosity Rekindled
In 2015, our curiosity was reignited as we began hearing more about container pools gaining popularity in Australia. We dove into further research, driven by our extensive background in container modifications. Recognizing the potential, we decided to seriously explore this emerging opportunity.
2018
From Concept to Reality
By 2018, we had developed our first container pool and unveiled it at a trade show, where it drew significant interest. This milestone marked the beginning of continuous refinement. Since then, we’ve elevated our product by integrating commercial-grade liners and forming key partnerships with industry leaders such as Pentair, Coverstar, CGT Liners, and Intertek International. Achieving ETL certification was a major step, ensuring our pools meet the highest safety and performance standards.

Evolving the Standard
Today, Tangle Pools offers ETL-certified pools in a range of sizes, backed by rust-free guarantees and flexible installation options. While our Core models still feature the iconic container-inspired exterior, we’ve moved beyond standard shipping containers, refining our build process for enhanced durability and design versatility.
